What's included

Fascias and gutters are the first thing to go green and the last thing anyone cleans. Washing them makes the whole front of a house look looked-after. When you ask for a gutter wash, all of this is included in the price.

  • Fascias
  • Gutters, outside faces
  • Downpipes
  • Soffits
  • Barge boards
  • Front and back of the property, unless you ask otherwise

How we do it

A grey, stained gutter and fascia before washing

Method

A brush on a pole up high, by hand down low

Upstairs gutters, boards and downpipes are washed with a brush on a pole; the easy-to-reach ones downstairs are cleaned by hand. We bring everything we need, water included. Our cleaning solution is fine on every gutter material.

Pairs well with

Gutter clearance

If the inside of the gutters needs clearing too, ask for both: cleared so they drain, washed so they look clean.

Afterwards

Looking cared for

Clean white lines along the roof edge, no green, no streaks. Most customers have it done once a year, more often if the house is surrounded by trees.

Gutter & fascia washing from £60

Gutter & fascia washing questions

Something else? Ask us.

What are fascias and soffits?

The fascia is the board along the edge of the roof that the gutter is fixed to. The soffit is the board underneath it, facing the ground. Both are usually white uPVC and both go green and grey over time.

Will washing damage the plastic or the paint?

No. The solution we use is fine on all gutter materials, and we wash with a soft brush, not a pressure washer. We bring our own water, so there's nothing you need to do.

How often does it need doing?

Most customers have it done once a year. If the house is surrounded by trees, more often.
